We all carry our children. Often this carrying journey begins in our minds and our hearts, long before baby arrives in person and into our arms. Many of us carry our babies inside our bodies during pregnancy, for some of us, another body may have carried the baby we love. Some of us may not have planned to carry our babies but find that they convince us to carry them. Some of us carry our children in our arms, perched on our hips, riding on our backs or shoulders. Still others of us use tools to help us carry our precious little ones. These wraps or carriers may change as we grow in confidence and experience. For some of us, one carrier is all we need, for others, exploring options and enjoying variety is great fun. As our children and our families grow, how we carry may change and evolve. Our social circles may alter and expand, we may move from learners to guides. Our carrying journeys are unique and special. We’d love to know what your carrying journey looks like, and we’re here to support and encourage you on your chosen path!
